These terms and conditions apply to the use of this Website and by accessing this Website and/or placing an order you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below and on our Return Policy. Payment

We accept payment from PayPal and credit/debit cards through the PayPal payment gateway.

We use PayPal, to process any credit/debit transactions you may make on our behalf. When you place an order, you will receive an e-mail confirming your payment transaction details. You are responsible for ensuring the e-mail address and other contact details you provide to us are correct.

In cooperation with PayPal, we offer you the following payment options. Your personal data is handled in accordance with applicable data protection law and in accordance with the information in PayPal’s privacy statement.

We will not be responsible if you do not receive the Dispatch Note email or other confirmation from us where the details you have supplied are incorrect or in the event of communication failure outside our control.

PayPal are responsible for the website transaction. We do not store credit card details, nor do we share customer details with any 3 parties.

Cancelling an order

You have a right to cancel your order. If you would like to cancel your order before we have dispatched it from our showroom, please contact us as soon as possible on 01526 572011  or by email at info@tinatownsend.co.uk and you will be issued a full refund.

However if your order ha already left our showroom then unfortunately it is not possible to cancel at this stage. Instead, once your order has arrived simply follow the returns instructions enclosed and when we have received your goods you will be issued with a refund minus the postage cost.

  5. The repair or correction of the fault which is the nature of the complaint, and return of the corrected goods.

Tina Townsend shall have sole and absolute discretion as to which of the remedies set out above shall be applied to any claim accepted by it.

Nothing within these conditions operates so as to exclude, limit or restrict our liability to death or personal injury. Nothing in the above exclusions affects your statutory rights as a consumer. All Intellectual Property Rights and goodwill in or relating to the contents of the website belong to Tina Townsend in particular, the trademarks displayed are registered and nothing contained in these conditions or the website should be constituted as granting by implication, estoppels, personal bar, or otherwise, any licence or right to use any of the trademarks without our permission.

However, copying and printing of those web pages which contain the trademarks is permitted within the scope of the licence contained as below. You may want to download to a local hard disk or memory device and print extracts from the website solely for personal, non-commercial use. We reserve the right at any time to make changes to the website, these terms and conditions, the Website Conditions of Use, Privacy Policy and such other policies as we may notify you from time to time.

You will be subject to the policies and terms and conditions in force at the time you order items using the website. Changes which we are requested to make by law could apply to orders which you have already made.

If any of the terms and conditions forming the contract between us are deemed invalid, void or unenforceable for any reason, they will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining terms and conditions.

RETURN POLICY

We hope that you will be delighted with your purchase. However, should you wish to return anything purchased online from Tina Townsend we will be happy to refund an item, provided it is in an unused and re-saleable condition with original tickets attached. You can return items within 14 days of receipt, including sale items. All returned items are quality-checked; any returned items failing this check will be returned to the customer, and no refund or credit will be given.

Should you purchase and return, shipments will be at your own cost. These will need to be sent by tracked post for insurance purposes. Please note we cannot issue refunds unless and until items have been received by Tina Townsend at 27a high Street, South Kyme, Lincoln, Lincolnshire LN4 4AD.

We will refund your original method of payment within 14 days of returned items being received – if you experience longer delays receiving a refund, in the first instance it may be worth checking with your issuing bank. However, if you have not received a credit within 28 days, please get in touch with us at info@tinatownsend.co.uk.

NO NON-UK RETURNS

EXCHANGES

If you would like to exchange a product, please place a subsequent order for the new product and return the original product as per our returns procedure outlined above. When we have received your goods, you will be issued with a refund.

FAULTY ITEMS

Items are only classified as faulty if they are received damaged.

Damage due to wear and tear or as a result of incorrect cleaning methods not displayed on the care label is not considered faulty. We recommend checking the item upon receipt. After the item is worn it becomes hard to identify reason or cause of faulty items.

Where possible, we will offer to repair or exchange faulty items (subject to availability). If a faulty item cannot be repaired or replaced, we will offer a full refund. We do not offer partial refunds in exchange for keeping a faulty item.

REFUNDS

Once a return is received it can take up to 7 working days to process, then a further 14-21 working days for the refund to appear in your bank statement. Please note we do not refund the original shipping cost. However if the item is proven to be faulty or you notify us within 14 days that you wish to cancel the order, you will be refunded in full including the shipping minus our cost of returning the goods back to us. This is £7.00.

We use DPD for all mainland UK deliveries and DHL for Northern Ireland deliveries.

Saturday delivery is only available for orders placed before 2pm on Friday (excludes Bank Holidays). UK Express delivery orders placed before 2pm Monday to Friday will be delivered next working day. Orders placed after 2pm Monday to Friday, or on a weekend/Bank Holiday, will be delivered in 2 working days.

All orders have to be signed for. If you enter your mobile number when checking out, DPD will send a text message advising the shipment is out for delivery and offering a 1 hour window so you do not have to wait all day for the shipment. You can also reply to this text with delivery preferences, including delivery to a neighbour, delivery to a shop, or next day delivery instead. If we are unable to deliver your parcel on the first attempted delivery, the courier will leave a card at your address with the options to re-arrange delivery or for the shipment to be delivered to a DPD service point near you.

The courier will attempt to contact you to deliver the parcel on three separate occasions, and if the parcel is still not signed for by that stage, it will be returned to our distribution centre and your credit/debit card refunded. Once we have received your order back into the distribution centre the refund process will begin.

Please note Saturday delivery is not available for the following UK post codes and all other estimated delivery times (Standard & Express) will be extended by 24 hours – AB31 – AB35. AB41 – AB54. International Delivery with DHL
Prices on request as these can depend on a number of factors. Please contact us to make your purchase if international delivery is required.

We use DHL for international and non-mainland UK deliveries. You can check the status of your order by entering your tracking number which will be provided upon postage.

SHIPPING

Goods sold as seen online.

Goods are dispatched within 5 working days of receipt of cleared funds (except weekends & public holidays)

Unless otherwise stated, goods are dispatched with a tracked courier.

We reserve the right to charge extra for this service for deliveries beyond UK Zone1, e.g. Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle of Wight, Shetland Isles, Scottish Highlands etc.

The risk of loss and title to all merchandise ordered on this site pass to you when the merchandise is delivered to the shipping courier.
